This is a beautiful, dramatic blue smokey eye with a a golden highlight. It's a great look for night or parties. You can also amp it up with some false lashes, or even add some blue glitter on the center of the eyelid for sparkle!!
Watch my video tutorial:
what type of brushes do you use exactly in general not jus for this look? Are they MAC brushes??
ReplyDeletethe brushes i use are the ones I received from the make-up school I studied with, I use them for all the looks I create =). I also use the E.L.F c brush that I really like.
ReplyDeleteWhat blue eye shadow did you used for this look ? I really love that look .
ReplyDeleteI used BH Cosmetics 12o palette 2nd edition...the blue is in that palette.
DeleteCan you apply false lashes after you have applied your shadow and liner?
ReplyDeleteYes you can, it's usually better for false eyelashes to be applied after all your makeup is done, so you won't have all kinds of eyeshadow dust fall on them.
Deleteexcellent..:) hey can i use my fingers to spread the balck shade instead of brushe..???
ReplyDeleteYes you can.
DeleteI would also like to know what blue you used.
ReplyDeleteI used a blue found in the BH cosmetics 120 palette 2nd edition.
DeleteBeautiful you do great work!!! Question: why do you use the elf primer "and" the nyx primer together?
ReplyDeleteThe NYC is a concealer, not a primer...the concealer brightens the eye which helps the color pop! and further acts a "glue" for the eyeshadow. I like to use the primer then concealer to give my shadows extra staying power. =)
Deleteyou're makeup pics are amazing! I LOVE the looks you create. Did you go to school for this?
