(who knows maybe you can start making videos on how to color hair cause im thinking of hot pink or purple!) lol
ReplyDeleteSaw this on pinterest and I just have to say that you are adorable - and very talented. Your explanations made so much more sense to me than the nonsense I've been shown before!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on Pinterest also and I can't wait to go home and try out a smoky eye! Thanks so much for sharing! =)
ReplyDeleteSaw it on Pinterest. Nice job! Beautiful eye makeup!
ReplyDeleteSaw this on Pinterest, thank you for sharing, you are very thorough with your teaching and patient with us beginners! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to see someone else with brown eyes do the smokey eye look. It seems like everyone is blue eyed blond and the colors they use are just wrong on me. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look!!! I have a question though. For some reason, every time I try to line my lower waterline, it makes me look totally weird! I think it is so stunning and I wish I could pull it off, but for some reason it just looks freaky on me. Is there some secret trick I am missing? I do it just like you show on the video... :(
ReplyDeletewhen you line the waterline, just asure that you also darken the outer lower corner of you eye as well so it won't make your eye look funny...I think I did do it in the video...lining the outer lower corner adds balance ;)
Deleteyou are pretty famous on Pinterest, I can't count how many times i've seen this link!! Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, again, saw on pinterest and its the best smokey eye I have seen.
ReplyDeleteSaw on pinterest and I loved the tips! Question though: any recommendations for Eye Primers/Concealers?
ReplyDeleteI have a GOOD ONE called Glorious by Younique! 100% natural you can use it for eye and face! you can find it at www.youniqueproducts.com/SandeeRBallestrasse
DeleteThanks for sharing. LOVE THIS!!
ReplyDeleteLove your site and videos....thought might like to check out a new makeup company on Etsy called Pollen Cosmetics. It's new to Etsy, owner is Lindsey Garcia. She has researched her product for a year and looks very promising. You can find her on Facebook also under Pollen Cosmetics. Thank you, I don't think you will be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing! I will check her out! =)
DeleteI found your blog via Pinterest & I LOVE this tutorial! I featured a pin from this tutorial on my blog as a fave here: http://www.pinfluence.com/2011/11/26/saturday-stumbles-11-26-11/

ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial. I especially love that you used regular makeup. Not something thats costly, but stuff anyone can buy at the drugstore. Saw you on pinterest, too!
ReplyDeleteI also just saw your photos on Pinterest and quickly became a fan! I've got my mirror out next to my computer and trying to duplicate your work. I was so happy to see your eyebrow tutorials too. Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteI had a question about lining the waterline...first of all thank you for all the wonderful comments!!! there is a trick to making sure your eyes don't look tiny when lining the waterline...I suggest lining the outer, lower part of your eye as well, this will make your eyes look bigger and more complete...I hope this is helpful =)
ReplyDeleteI use E.L.F. primers and concealers, they are very inexpensive and do the job =)
ReplyDeletegreat tutorial! Looking forward to trying this look tomorrow. you are cute as a button!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how much I learned from watching your tutorial! There were lots of little tricks that are simple enough, but I doubt I would have figured them out on my own. I can't wait to try this!
ReplyDeleteHi love the look! What brand of eye shadows are you using. Did not recognize the abreviations. Thank you susan
ReplyDeleteI used a mineral eyeshadow from eyeslipsface.com
Deleteand an eyeshadow palette from Bhcosmetics.com
you can also find E.L.F. or eyeslipsface at Target...Bh cosmetics however, is only sold online....I hope this helps =)
omg can you just come and do my eyes everyday!
ReplyDeleteGREAT tutorial!!! I'm addicted!!!
ReplyDeleteI always loved the smokey eye look. But I have one question....what kind of brushes do you use. I would love to know...
ReplyDeleteI used some brushes I got from the school I studied with...but Coastalscents.com sells good quality and inexpensive brushes...I used their brushes as well =)
